The building, before the apartment
It is one of those you recognise from the pavement in Poble-sec: a sgraffito façade, wrought-iron balconies and a cornice finishing the whole. Inside, what is almost always lost has been kept — the stencilled dado of the entrance hall, the iron banister of the staircase and the hand-painted ceilings, with their figures and garlands. Original timber doors inside the apartment, with their old iron latches.
The renovation opens up the far end

From the balcony and from the windows at the far end the view is of terraces and sky.
